Chemistry & Biochemistry

Key research areas include the chemical and enzymatic modification of nucleic acids (RNA/DNA), the production and characterisation of enzymes and their variants, the development and synthesis of enzymatic co-factors, as well as biochemical, electrochemical, and physicochemical diagnostics (RT-qPCR, HPLC, LC-MS, EIS, voltammetry, ...). This is paired with extensive experience in method development, process optimisation, and scientific writing.
